After a first video on designing some external surfaces of a jet plane using 3DConnexion SpaceMouce and CadMouse Pro wireless, I would like today to share with you a new one more focused on mechanical parts design and SpaceMouse usage.
The capability to define which actions are linked with SpaceMouse buttons is really helpful. For instance, I decided to have directly under my fingers commands such as Save, Update and Search My Content, often used when designing parts.
The navigation in 3D is greatly enhanced, and the predefined buttons for front/top/right views are really useful when navigating in a Digital Mock-up.
And having Ctrl/Alt/Shift and Esc buttons on the SpaceMouse avoids hand moving from it to the keyboard (and vice-versa :-), and then to loose time.
You can also see on this video the radial menu button of the CadMOUSE Pro which helps increasing design productivity when associated with commands such as Copy/Paste, switch between parallel and perspective view, hide/show or Center Tree for instance.
