Starting 3DEXPERIENCE 24xFD02, Assembly Symmetry command has been totally reshaped.
The purpose of this evolution is to ease the use of the command in case of large assembly.
The concept of the command remain unchanged the differences are focused on the way the user interact with the references to select the symmetry options. With the previous command every interaction were made using the balloon and it was not possible to select sub-assemblies.
Previous command: choice on a Reference (Symmetric, Same reference ...) can be done only using the balloon
In the new command, the balloon is replaced by a spectree, within the command dialog, displaying the projected symmetric structure.
The user will interact with the spectree to:
- select with crosshighlight
- change the symmetry type
- hide
- filter
- reframe on 3D
- and perform multi-selection.
The new capabilities allows also to manage more efficiently symmetry options on a subassembly (capability to select “Same reference” for a sub assembly).
Edition of the symmetry will also be managed with the new command.
New command: choice is done in the spectree, and it is possible to define option on subassemblies (example of fastener here)
If you right click on a column of the spectree, a filter will be displayed, allowing to filter the elements displayed:
It is also possible to display/hide the source product or the symmetric one:
