Issue

Several users across our business frequently experience an issue where the graphics of 3DX become unusable. See the example screenshots below. This only affects the 3DX application on their workstations. This issue is also not something we have been able to reproduce.

First started

When we upgraded from 2017x to 2022x

Troubleshooting

As part of our troubleshooting, we have performed the following on the hardware.

  • Firmware and Bios Updates.
  • Graphics Driver – Tried Various drivers.
  • Re-installation of 3DX.
  • Clearing C:\CATIA-CACHE\
  • Clearing %appdata%\dassaultsystemes and %localappdata%\dassaultsystemes

Reports from our designers suggest that this may only happen when specific data is loaded into their sessions. However, this has not been reproducible.

Assessment

As this issue is unreproducible at this stage, we cannot raise an SR with DS.
