Hasbro enables you to 3D print your toys
Hasbro is a company specialized in producing games and toys (Disney, Donjons et Dragons, Jurassic Park, Pokémon, Star Wars, Mon Petit Poney), and it has recently launched a partnership with Shapeways on SuperFanArt.com.
In fact, Hasbro has recently offered its designers to imagine toys from the licence abd offered fans the possibility to get them 3D printed !
Shustov Brandy Bar by Belenko Design Band in Odessa, Ukraine
This 19th-century cellar in Odessa, Ukraine, has been redesigned as a brandy museum and brandy bar named Shustov by design studio Belenko Design Band. The dark and mellow ambience suits the space perfectly, just as it highlights the venue’s character and history. Naturally with wood as the material of choice, oaken timber cover the tables and real barrel tops have been placed all over the walls in multi-layered random patterns (cleverly accentuated with rows of theatre-type lights hanging from the ceiling). In the lobby, the ceiling has been covered with approximately 20,000 brandy bottles, creating an undulating installation of light welcoming the guests. Shustov’s bespoke chairs - with their gracefully bending armrests – have also been designed by Belenko Design Band.

Davin stowell is the CEO and founder of smart design, a creative innovation consultancy with studios in new york city, san francisco and london. davin evolved Dsmart design from a three-person product design shop in 1980 to the 125-person product and service experience consultancy it is today. he also created the OXO good grips line in 1989, which brought universal design to everyday products. designboom spoke to davin about his work and influences.

French designer Philippe Starck has unveiled four electric bicycles and a collection of matching cycling accessories at the Eurobike event in Germany today, including a bike with a furry coat.
A smartphone on your wrist
The Samsung Gear S, unveiled today, features 3G, Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity and can also send and receive calls. It updates the initial Gear smartwatch, which launched last year, and could only operate within range of WiFi or a Bluetooth-connected phone.
