Stratasys and Graphene Tech Partner for 3D Printed Graphene

On June 26 of this year, the Board of Governors of the Israel-U.S. Binational Industrial Research and Development (BIRD) Foundation approved \\\$8.9 million in funding for 11 new projects that join together American and Israeli companies, one of which may have significant impact on the future of 3D printing.  Among the eleven projects (PDF), which range from pluggable transceivers to systems for testing pesticides in water, is one that will see Stratasys partner with Graphene Technologies to evelop Graphene enhanced 3D printing materials.”

Konstantin grcic refines his miura collection for PLANK

Konstantin grcic has been collaborating with PLANK for about a decade, exploring and working with the Italian company on technical and material research, with a specific focus on the area of innovations related to plastic furniture production. For 2014, rather than debut a new product, the German designer has elaborated on his existing ‘miura’ stool and table for PLANK, consisting of a stool and table, by refining the materials from which they are made, enhancing their details and offering a selection of colors (yellow green, light blue, wine red) not previously offered.
