Here is a tuto on gradation within domains, updated in R22x.

following the question of @DM ​​​​​​​, I included the part where I extract the domains from a sketch. the point is that I use 3DX Native App (Part Design sketcher) to do it and then multi-extract, but there could be other ways (series of extract + final join for example)... please let me know if still unclear or if you don't have access to the functions (license issue)

1 create the input with sketch in native app CATIA and extract them into features

2 open in the model in XGEN and create the inputs

3 create the domains

4 create the Hexagon grid -> dont forget that to get a regular hexagon there is cos(30deg) ratio between Height and Width

5 Filter Hexagons per domain​​​​​​​

6 create the attractors

7 make final adjustments with Stats and Threshold + coloring

8 increase the number of Hexagons
