On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the reveal of the creative TA.TAMU chair took place - a lightweight, foldable chair that minimizes material usage while maintaining structural integrity and performance.

The DESIGNStudio teams at Dassault Systèmes and Patrick Jouin iD have been collaborating since 2018. Since the first unveiling of the original Tamu chair prototype at Milan Design Week (2019), their joint exploration of technical and creative possibilities has been continuous. 

The vision behind TA.TAMU chair is to explores the intersection of art and science, human and machine, designer and data, as well as modeling and simulation.
