This week, I went further with my idea.
To enhance my idea, I have to figure out some principles of object which falling slowly
I started to find object which falls down slowly but vertically.
Through research, I found some object to get inspiration.
A parachute seems proper, but It usually doesn't fall vertically aligned.
Moreover, it cannot be used again easily.
And a feather is to wiggles when it falls
I finally found suitable object to get inspiration.
It was 'Maple seed'
(Image from : http://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/File:Maple-seed.jpg)
It falls slowly also vertically

Another feature of maple seed is that it rotates by itself to fall down ideal angle in aerodynamically.
This is important because the camera must look downward to take a photo of user while falling.

You can see this phenomenon on this video how the maple seed falls

This artwork is study to understanding form and falling movement of maple seed
I did this several years ago, but it really helped me a lot to modeling the object.
So, from this inspiration, I started sketch with Natural Sketch
I did a sketch from the seed sketch to 3D sketch
I tried to find a stream line and structure from shape of the nature
And I merge it with camera
And I drew Detail 3D Sketch
This is a form that when it fly high to the sky, aerodynamically camera see towards the ground and fall slowly while rotating.
And now, with Imagine & Shape, I started to make a model
And this is a video about modifying surface using Natural sketch.
And not only flying camera, I'm also modeling the slingshot too.
From Natural sketch to Imagine&Shape, I directly did a modeling through sketch.
And in term of doing the modeling, I still use natural sketch to reshape or add the object
I'm going to put some surface design on the surface of slingshot.
So I drew some lines directly on the surface of the modeling with Natural sketch.
My post for today ends here and thanks for watching
