After hearing for decades about the great things you can do with ICEM Surf, I only recently began using it for a real project. 

I'm looking now for detailed, technical information on the topology of surfaces. What type of typology makes a good quality surface? And, what are the steps to achieve this type of surface? What type of flow chart would allow you to use ICEM Shape Design tools to take a machine-generated set of surfaces created from a large scan, to move it toward a group of high-quality, accurate set of surfaces? I should add that I'm using the CATIA v5 version of ICEM Shape Design.
