How to move the origin point of an OmniPlane in IDX?

Hi, I am trying to create an OmniPlane through three points, then move its origin after creation to a surface vertex to act as a cutter.

Using IDX 2025X-FD01

In ICEM Shape Design I can use the F6 key to do this. Manipulate Robot using F6 with 3 points, then F6 again click the new origin, then Esc key to exit command (or F6 again). then Create a Robot plane. Hey presto! 🙂

************

Create the OmniPlane with points 1,2, and 3.

Now I want to move the origin to point 1. I can fiddle with the numbers in the OmniPlane panel but this is a little time-consuming shall we say.

In the worst case, I have to create a point on the vertex, copy its X,Y, Z parameters, then paste these into the respective fields. Lost the will to live by this point 🙂

I just went back into ISD, ignored the mess because Frames and Display lists are not compatible. Created the plane using F6 and then back into IDX.

This is a relatively simple task, and I cant fathom why it is so difficult?

Also how do I offset an existing OmniPlane with another?
