Technology is all around us there is no doubt. Nevertheless, most of them may not be visible to the human eye. The designer Nickolay Lamm, has used a multitude of colors to show wavelenghts of Wi-Fi channel. And you, how do you imagine how freeze frames would looks like in space or air?

The Creativity Compass, a new way of thinking


 

Joichi Ito, director, MIT Media Lab at Dassault Systèmes posted a good article on LinkedIn explaining the Creativity Compass and the origins of the framework.

"The key is to pull these quadrants as close together as possible. An interdisciplinary group would have a scientist, an artist, a designer, and an engineer working with each other. But this only reinforces the distinctions between these disciplines. And it’s much less effective than having people who use all four quadrants, as the project or problem requires."

A series called "I Used To Be A Washing Machine"

 

Tony Grigorian, a industrial designe, created a manual that guides people through building chairs from a completely disassembled washing machine. The resulting designs are almost unrecognizable as former household appliances.Once disassembled, parts from an old machine can be used to create an innovative and unique piece of furniture for the home.

Paper Clouds by Tomás Saraceno                                                          

Here is an installation by the artist Tomas Saraceno. Produced in 2009, Cloudy House was a multimedia installation featuring a mix of sculptures,  video and photography.Through his work, the artist encouraged people to ask questions about contemporary society, its organization, and the possibilities of a healthy future.

The project: the geometric forms has been made out of matte white paper. Using nylon wire, the pieces of art are suspended by groups from the ceiling. The result:  an elaborated and organized system of futuristic weather that hung unnaturally throughout the interior space.

The London-based photographer, Carl Warner, who was already well known for his Foodscapes produced a new serie of photographywhere human bodies have been contorted, lit, and manipulated to form expansive landscapes reminiscent of barren deserts and mountains.
