Hi Community, 

here I want to share with you the project I did together with students from the University in Hamburg using the 3DExperience Platform for creating a Train Design Concept. 

The students, which are part of the Master studies "Digital Reality", used the 3DExperience Platform for their very first time. The modeling was done with the CATIA XApps - XDesign, XShape Design and XGenerative Design. So all the modeling happened in the Browser - no local installation of the Native Client was needed. 

This was extremely important for this project as due to the COVID situation all students had to work from home with their private Laptops. Thanks to the CATIA XApps everything the students needed was a running internet connection - no specific HW requirements. We used a Collaborative Dashboard to exchange all along the project phase.
