The Defiant X, which I designed in the Catia program, is a futuristic helicopter designed to go fast and far. Designed by Lockheed Martin, it is one of two candidates for the US Army that could be the new Black-Hawk type helicopter. Its most striking feature is the top, where the two rotors rotate in opposite directions for maximum lift. This means it doesn't need a conventional tail rotor. Quickly getting in and out is essential as this helicopter will need to send troops into the enemy area quickly. The propeller at the rear helps with this, it can quickly push the vehicle through the air or even help slow it down. This allows the helicopter to accelerate or decelerate without leaning forward or backward as a Black-Hawk would.
