I am very happy to announce the start of our CATIA Design Talks this year! We will broadcast a live talk to you here in the community every second and forth Tuesday every month (with summer & Christmas break). So from now on - every second Tuesday is Design Talk Tuesday! 

Our first talk is about a great project of the designer Patrick JOUIN. Sebastien Smetryns and Thibault Berard from 3DS DESIGNStudio, will present the story of passionate and ambitious, French designer Patrick Jouin who collaborated with the 3DS DESIGNStudio to explore what the 3DEXPERIENCE platform, topology optimization and generative design could bring to his creative vision, and his practice as a designer. The result of this experiment is the TAMU chair prototype, which questions folding, materials, weight, and illustrates how the designers’ practice will evolve in a renewed relationship to algorithms and Nature — opening the door to further explorations.
