[CATIA Design Talk REPLAY] Face It - A sustainable & inclusive face mask for COVID times

If we design for life, we can decrease our pollution footprint and we can create products that help to include people with disabilities. In this case, our Design Studio tried to find a solution for the face masks pollution problem and at the same time, help to improve communication of people without hearing by making transparent face masks.

As the face masks remain necessary for protection against COVID, we need to think of ways to create inclusive and sustainable face masks. The Design Studio therefore partnered with eliumstudio, one of the major French design agencies, with a track record of successful collaborations with high-tech, healthcare and luxury companies worldwide. Together, they worked on the 3DEXPERIENCE Platform to design a re-usable, sustainable mask.
In this talk, I will speak with @Thomas Droze, Design Manager at eliumstudio and @Sebastien SMETRYNS, Design Innovation Senior Manager at Dassault Systèmes, about how they collaborated on the 3DX platform to achieve this goal and which solutions were used. This talk is part one of several to come to explain the project from different perspectives.
