Starting October 20th, the London Design Museum will open their new exhibition "Waste Age - What can Design do" — while the world gears up for the COP26 summit. This is a fantastic time for Dassault Systèmes to present their collaboration with up-&-coming architect Arthur Mamou-Mani, a lover of parametric design and a passionate advocate of sustainability practices.
Together, Mamou-Mani Architects & the Dassault Systèmes Design Studio developed a beautifully crafted installation entitled AURORA. Our work was inspired by Upstream Thinking, a design approach that prioritizes regeneration and is part of our Design for Life programme.
In this talk, I will speak with @Paul-Emeric ROGER and @FC from the 3DS Design Studio who worked with Arthur Mamou-Mani and his team to realize this installation They will explain to us what we will see in London and what makes this installation so special. A little hint from me: It is about 3D printing with compostable and sustainable materials!
AURORA can be seen in London until November 14th. If you can’t attend, or wish to know more, we will unveil a Virtual AURORA experience on our new Design Portal from October 20th. Stay tuned.
