M.O.M Chair       

Hello.

This is Youngwook KIM from Kookmin Univ in South Korea.

I am doing my Bachelor degree in Industrial Design. I began an internship in February 2015 at the Dassault Systèmes CATIA Design Team.

 I learned the CATIA program during the week. And I hope to finish one subject with CATIA process.

 I am going to create a portfolio in one subject for a period of one months.

 This is an introduction about the concept which is first step of that process.

Furniture design provides a rest from the form and function as well as worthy life for the users.

In this respect, when I set up initial concept, I did not have access by form or function but by providing worth to users.

The subject of furniture is a combination of pregnant chair and crib.

Pregnant women and babies should receive most secure and they need resting place for them only. So many people buy these furnitures with expensive cost despite the short necessity.furthermore, if someone buy chair and crib together, as well as a cost problem arieses also in the space.

I hoped to give a worth to this limited period while at the same time solve those problems. And the babies can be with their mother more comfortably

from the womb to the infant group by this furniture.

So, I am going to highlight further this concept while going through the design.

And I hope to get more perfect results : such as more safety structure. by utilize the CATIA
