The Dutch design company Waarmakers has unveiled late June an electric scooter developed with NPSP, manufacturing composite for the young and eco-friendly brand Van.Eko.

The e-scooter is made out of plants, which means it's consist of natural fiber-reinforced composites or NFC’s instead of the standard issue plastic and metal bits. It has a monocoque body; a unique construction in which the object’s external skin supports the load.

If you feel following the green way, this first bio-based e-scooter is made for you! But, be patient, for now, they are only at the stage of prototyping.
