Hello guys,

I just finished a huge rebar model for a marine project. I modeled rebars from shop drawings. In ten days i was able to provide all bars and make a sequence using 3d markup.
I didn't used rebars commands since many years and i'm happy to share that the app is really better. Good job guys!
 

What I liked :
 

• Stability of commands with a huge amount of bars. I got only 3 or 4 crashes, specially with mesh command. I didn't lost time with it.
• Rebar Group command. I'm happy to use this new command, really powerful.
• General settings, we have now more control
• Mesh command
• Quality of rebar report in excel
• Quality of rebar drawing
  
  What I would like :
• Barmark :
  • barmark improvement (see my previous post) to get more flexibility
  • feature barmark automatically renamed in the tree with barmark name. In case of severals barmarks, you don't know which one to edit. Or maybe a cross higlight of barmark feature when you select a bar
  • Start number panel could be integrated in master panel instead of small wheel
• Rebar Creation
  • Ergonomy of panels could be simplified ? too many clics / panels  to change pattern start distance, axis setting, etc
• Rebar transformation 
  • could digest multiple layers in one operation? I couldn't, so I exposed them in one area and i did an assembly pattern instead.
• Rebar Group

  • It could be very nice to have the capability to offset each layer in the direction of the pattern and maybe link layer between them with an order increment in panel. For example : 
    layer 1 20M : level 0 (sketch plane)
    layer 2 25M : level 0 (same as layer 0)
    layer 3 15M : level 1 (offset calculated=max physical dia of level 0)
    layer 3 15M : level 1 (offset calculated=max physical dia of level 0)
    layer 4 20M : level 2 (offset calculated=max physical dia of level 0 + max physical dia of level 1)
    layer 5 30M : level -1 (offset calculated= - max physical dia of level 0 )

    This scenario is happening very often. Actually we have to translate layers independently

• Rebar exposition : when we change number of bars in a layer or diameter, we can update exposed feature and geometry is updated. But name is wrong even if pubication is up to date. How can we update exposed features without cleaning ?
