Biological registration users would have identified some vulnerable Spring4Shell library and associated java files in their installation and they would like to know how to remove these files safely without affecting the application functionality.

The scripts for the removal of these files are available in the recently released BioReg 2022 SP2 and upgrading to the latest version will remove them cleanly.

Users who are still running older versions (2019, 2020, 2021, and 2022) of this registration application and do not plan to upgrade to the latest version right away are advised to contact BIOVIA Support and ask for the scripts.
