Issue:

 One user is not seeing "CIMS Adapter" in the Device Type dropdown during LES procedure execution. The option is available to other users with the same security permissions

Solution:

This issue normally occurs when a particular user does not have the proper Lab and Location assigned permissions.

-Login to LES client | Security Manager | Double mouse click on the row for a user that can successfully view CIMS Adapter in drop down | Mouse click on "Permissions" on top right and you will see this user's current Lab and Location permissions at the bottom under "Assigned Permissions" section. 

-Next do the same step for the user that does not see CIMS Adapter from drop down and compare this user's "Assigned Permissions" to the other user that does see the instrument from drop down
