When launching LES application, the following error appear:
"Access Denied. Contact Administrator".
There are two possible scenario for the error –“Access Denied” to appear:
- The user who launched LES do not have permission to access LES. Check with the LES admin for access.
- If the user had permission previously but seeing this issue, then the issue could be related to recent DCOM Security patch (KB5004442).
Resolution:
Change the ‘Default Authentication Level’ from ‘None’ to ‘Connect’ on the LES Client Server. See the technote –T10-2022 for details.
