QUESTION

The Pipeline Pilot Insight for Excel collection contains a number of example protocols but they do not seem to be accessible to me. When I login to the Pipeline Pilot Server from the Insight for Excel client application, I can see the protocols under Insight Server > Calculators but there is no Insight Server > Examples menu item.

Also, when I log in to the Pipeline Pilot Pro client, I don't see the Examples folder:
Protocols/Web Applications/Insight for Excel/Examples/
nor do I see the Insight for Excel components under:
Components/Web Applications/Insight for Excel/

The protocol examples as well as the components provided with the Pipeline Pilot Insight for Excel collection are mainly intended as examples for protocol developers and not meant for production use. Because of this, these are only available to users which belong to the group "InsightForExcel/PluginAuthors". Depending on the authentication method used, this group is defined either in the Pipeline Pilot Administration Portal or in Foundation Hub.

To make the example protocols and the components available to a user, make this user a member of the pre-defined "InsightForExcel/PluginAuthors" group.
