Registration users currently running version 2023 Golden might be interested in upgrading Pipeline Pilot from version 2023 to 2023 SP1. Although this upgrade of Pipeline Pilot only on the application server could be done, users may want to think about it because there is no version 2023 SP1 of ChemReg, BioReg, and Insight currently available.
Registration product team says that if necessary, customers with existing ChemReg, BioReg, and Insight 2023 can upgrade to Pipeline Pilot 2023 SP1, but it will only upgrade Project DB package to version 23.1.0.224795 from version 23.1.0.203659.
In addition, users attempting such an upgrade of Pipeline Pilot only are advised caution because if they uncheck ChemReg and BioReg packages during Pipeline Pilot 2023 SP1 upgrade, the installer will remove these packages and it will be necessary to reinstall them -- an unnecessary step that they could avoid at this time and instead wait for ChemReg and BioReg 2024 releases later this year and upgrade the entire suite to 2024.
