Registration users attempting a query for the 'Comments' field will find that this field is not available for selection to build a search form or even for running an ad-hoc query using this field in Insight Search page.

This is a known limitation and it applies to any field with a CLOB data type. Insight Search application does not at present support querying on attributes of CLOB data type in GEMS database. This means it is not possible to query the content of CLOB attributes in Registration databases.

Our Registration product team is looking into fixing this issue and the fix is expected to be available in a future release of Chemical & Biological Registration applications.
