Biological Registration: Select ORF from Plasmid Lot ID in Monoclonal Registration page

In Biological Registration, the monoclonal registration form allows users to enter a valid Plasmid Lot ID in the Heavy Chain tab and populate the desired ORF properties. During this action, users will find that the "Select ORF" window pops up even before entering the entire Lot ID in this field. For example, if a Biological Registration setup contains two plasmid records with Lot ID 7 and 72 and if the user wants to enter 72, the "Select ORF" window will pop-up as soon as they finish typing 7 showing one or more rows of records. The user has to click “Cancel” in that window and then enter 2 to get to 72. Users may find that clicking through several "Select ORF" windows before finally getting to the desired record as annoying/nuisance.

This is a known issue and unfortunately, there is no workaround for it at this time except to click “Cancel” in the "Select ORF" window and enter the next digit of the Lot ID.

This issue has already been reported to the product team and it will be considered for a fix in a future release of Biological Registration.
