Such a situation is very rare, but might arise with concepts associated with only one lot and due to multiple lot reassignments based on identity rules. Users can consider retiring such an orphaned lot and create a new lot with the same data as the retired one.

In some cases, this retirement might not be an option for the user because they might be referencing the lot in other applications. In such situations, BioReg users are advised to contact BIOVIA Support for further help. It is strongly recommended that they do not attempt any changes in the backend as this might introduce database inconsistency.
