PURPOSE: This script illustrates how to create a transparent ribbon. It will run on an open Molecule Window in the foreground.

INSTALLATION: Unzip the attached file and save TransparentRibbon.pl to a local directory or location accessible from the DS Client Files Explorer

USAGE: From the DS Client's Files Explorer, right-click on the TransparentRibbon.pl file and select Open With | Script Window then launch the script using the Run command from the Scripting toolbar.

REQUIREMENTS: A molecule window with solid protein ribbon display

Note, there are some adjustable parameters at the lines 42-44 which allow you to specify coloring the ribbon a solid color or by SecondaryType as well as the level of transparency.
