Version 0.1.4.61 is available for download here

The 3DEXPERIENCE Platform on Cloud has been upgraded to the FD07 level. To keep up with this upgrade, the Cloud Eligibility Checker Tool is also refined. This new and updated version of the tool includes various new features and enhancements

A brief summary of all the alterations done during this upgrade can be found below:

Improvisations:

Integration of AVX extensions:

From the R2021x FD05 level, the Program Directories mention that AVX extensions are required on the CPU. Earlier, this prerequisite was added just as a note in the Cloud Eligibility Checker Tool.

The current version has been improvised to include a check confirming AVX extensions. This check is a part of the Hardware and Software Configurations check

SOLIDWORKS Connected:

The Cloud Eligibility Checker Tool is now capable of detecting the version of SOLIDWORKS Connected as well. This check is specifically targeted for customers working with XWC License role.Notice that in case 3DEXPERIENCE Native apps are not installed, we are displaying this second check. Please refer QA00000070322 for more details

Command-Line Options:

Earlier, there was no command-line option for the tool. Now the behavior of the tool has been improvised to take into account the -h\-help option and accordingly display the help for various command-line options. Also, a proper warning message occurs when any invalid command-line option is being used

Additional Features:

A couple of additional features have also been implemented in the tool.

Display of Public IP Address (governed by command-line option “-ip”):

The tool is now capable of displaying the “Public IP Address” in the html report. This feature is governed by command-line option”-ip”

Message when internet connectivity is offline:

Note that it is essential to have internet connectivity to run the Cloud Eligibility Checker Tool properly. A few checks fail if internet connectivity is offline. The tool would display generic messages in the checks when this would happen. Now it has been improvised to have a proper warning at the very top of the check table

Bug Fixes:

Issue with few states in USA:

The Cloud Eligibility Checker Tool was unable to detect the apt datacenter for a few states in USA. Thus, Network Performance could not be computed for these states.

This new version of the tool takes into account such states and now Network Performance can be computed from these regions

Issue with countries connected to datacenter in AP Tokyo Geo:

The URL for AP Tokyo was broken leading to issues in computing Network Performance for the countries connected to this datacenter. This URL has now been fixed.

Issue with few certified models from manufacturer HP:

A few certified models from the manufacturer HP were deemed as not certified even though they belonged to the list of certified workstations. This issue has also been taken care of in this new version.

Changes as per FD07 level:

In addition to the above improvements, the usual changes pertaining to the Cloud Upgrade have also been done in the tool. To name a few, the tool now takes into account the FD07 level as the latest one as opposed to the FD06 one. The support for browser versions is updated in the tool as per the current stable release.

Hope that the above changes implemented in the tool prove useful for you.
