Last year the TTL was held on the 3Dswym platform, rather than the SolidWorks forum as in previous years.

Number of ideas was down.

User engagement was down.

The Top Ten was heavily skewed by staff from the same company voting on their ideas (fair play to them for working the system).

The UI here made it FAR harder to browse and discuss ideas.

The "voting mechanism" (i.e. liking the post) meant there was no actual point having a separate submission / voting phase, you could like any idea at any time.

Please, for everyone's sake, take it back to the platform with the better UI and higher engagement. Here just didn't work, and there's no sign that any of the issues highlighted have been taken seriously or acknowledged in any way.
