As it stands we all seem to be added to 50+ public communities which persistently show down the left side of the screen. While we can add the ones we're interested in to our "favourite" communities, this still leaves a lot of visual noise on the left side of the screen. It would be great to be able to leave a community, thus removing it completely from the left hand panel view.
The communities we leave would then be added to the "Discover Communities" part of the interface so that we could rejoin at a later date if required, using the same "join community" interface as already exists (with an automatic join permission as they are public communities).
