Face Shields for Nashville hospitals

I connected with a group of makers this weekend to help meet the demand for face shield visors in my home county.

Running around the clock this weekend, my Sindoh DP200 cranked out 21 parts. A nice, efficient design using only 25 grams of PLA in just over 90 minutes per print. I wondered if my contribution would make a difference, only to find there are over 1000 visors requested just in my county. Every print counts!

Here is the stl file we're using.

This is the official design used by e-NABLE Brazil and if you are from e-NABLE Brazil's group please access http://e-nablebrasil.org/wp/cadaimpressaoconta/ to know how to print and assemble this device. This device has been tested and officially approved in Brazil for print and use in hospitals in Brazil.

Already tested in PLA (0.4 mm nozzle) and works very well, no support needed. Prints in 1h 23 min.

The new V2 headband (see picture) is narrower (it is 160 mm between temples (the original one was 170 mm) for better fit on most heads and also has shorter temples as to bring the total length to less than 132 mm. This way it fits smaller printers (Like for example Markforged Onyx One).
