Leaders are extremely important but the way it works in DraftSight is not strong nor simple. Other competitors have more easy and direct Leaders. Some suggestions:

1- add properties control for leader parameters.

2- make simple leader creation one arrow + Text.

3- add Fast Leader for immediate leader insert with multi line text.

Hope this helps with the new DS2018Pro, it is truly powerful but needs some small things to complete the flavor.
