I have created a block with attributes and when I specify the rotation when I drop it in the floor plan the text is upside down. I am working with the professional version. I found the Backwards and Upside down options in the advanced attribute edit box, but when you use that the order is wrong. What was at the top in the original block is now on the bottom. Here are a couple snapshots of my issue.
