I've spent the last five hours trying to install the free draftsight on my computer. I can download the installer, run it, and get the successfully completed install message. BUT....when I open the program....it goes to the splash screen and immediately closes again.

I've uninstalled/reinstalled. I have deleted the SWActivation, I've renamed it and tried again. I've run it in compatibility mode, I've run it as an administrator. I've called, I've read online...I am at a total loss but I don't want to buy the thing at this point.

Also - it runs successfully as 2017 on all my other computers at work - but I can't get the 2018 version to work.
