I noticed on the Draftsight downloads web site that they have released a new version (2019) and are now making so you have to pay. See statement below:

As a result - IMPORTANT: 

• DraftSight 2019 for Windows® is offered in paid versions only.
• Once you download and install DraftSight 2019 (free 30-day trial or purchased version), you will no longer be able to redownload or access any previous free version of DraftSight (2018 or earlier).
• All free versions of DraftSight (2018 or earlier) will cease to run after 12/31/2019.

I had heard this might be a possibility but I am more disappointed in the last bullet point that all free versions of Draftsight will no longer work after 12/31/2019 :( 

I can see moving forward that any new install of Draftsight requires you to pay but why mess with all the old versions that are installed. We as a company moved away from Autodesk because they started to nickle and dime us with costs. Now it seems like Desault Systems/Draftsight has decided to do the same thing.

Very disappointed.
