I was having issues after installing draftsight. When I tried to start up the program it would pop the splash screen for a second and quit. After a lot of Googling I found that this is a know issues. Well after my team all did NOT have the install issue I realized that they had Windows Internet Explorer as the default browser mine was Chrome. I simply changed the default browser for the install and WHALA it started right up. The window was minimized and the fields were crazy small but I did get it registered and activated. Just thought I would share this.
