Since forever I have placed a dimension, dragged the grips to arrange it to suit, then copied it (or mirrored it).  The copy was always editable by dragging the grips to new origins, and text to new positions as desired.  Now in DS 2017 Pro the copy is locked and I cannot drag any of the grips.  Closest I can come is to Stretch the origins and text. Making a new-from-scratch Dimension, then using the Properties  Painter is only a partial solution, as some aspects that can be copied (extension line length) are not in the set of Properties.  Also seems to occur with Leaders that historically had moveable grips but not now.  Oh and one more thing... the problem is inconsistent; comes and goes. 

Is there a system variable or property setting I should know about?
