Activation issues

Reading this forum I see a lot of people having major troubles activating DraftSight. I am "evaluating" DraftSight at home, but at work I'm using another free program from your German competitor. With this German program I need to register only ONCE and it gives me lifetime license for that version release. If I want to upgrade to next release version, I need to register and go full procedure again, but if I don't want to upgrade - I can stay on same version forever without need to activate it every so often. That saves me a LOT of trouble from our plant IT department, which has blocked half of internet and can take years to implement something.

I am writing this because people who develop DraftSight activation system, seems like it never actually worked in corporate plant environment, where installing or activating software requires MAJOR involvement from upper management. So by making DraftSight activation very annoying only to continue using the SAME version, you're limiting your potential users. Just a thought.
