Utilizing Compose and Capture for Analytical Procedures
The purpose of this presentation will be to discuss the NMR use case that has been deployed using BIOVIA ONELab Compose and Capture recipes and Task Plan at Amgen when executing this procedure. The team was faced with the challenge of poor sample chain of custody, inconsistent result recording due to multiple software and a dependency on email communication to convey result availability and completion. Through multiple interactions with the team, recipes for NMR were created and deployed, which utilizes the many features of Task Plan. The benefits of deploying recipes are that it allows for automated chain of custody in sample tracking, a reliable and singular way to report results and the ability for sample requestors to see those results appear in their own Task Plans in real time. Post deployment interactions have shown that sample submitters have complied with this new process, thus leading to less stress and confusion in sample submission as well as a more reliable and consistent workflow for the team. 2022 BIOVIA Conference
