I would like to suggest an extension of the editor's help menu by an entry which informs the user about a new release of Biovia Draw.

Similar to DataWarrior, the preferred implementation would allow the user to select among launching an automatic update in the background, requesting a decision if the user wants an update, or not to search for updates (e.g., because of local IT policy) at all:
