This behavior is controlled by system variable named REMEMBERFOLDERS. This variable controls the path to be displayed in standard file selection dialog boxes.

0   Default path (C:\\ProgramData\\Dassault Systemes\\DraftSight\\Examples) is used for all standard file selection dialog boxes.

1   The last path used in that dialog box will be used for all standard file selection dialog boxes.
