Purpose
Setting recommendation in contect of Fluid Schematic Design
🛈 Only the parameters that have changed from the standard are listed. If they are not mentioned, keep the original settings.
Object and Links management
General
Reduce the scope of implement link to the first common father found
Piping port must NOT have system type associated to it -> Avoid question during port creation to avoid user mistake
Tree management
General
Hide in the logical tree the Main view. Main view is useless for schematic usage.

Applicative tree grouping
usefull to visualize object per line ID, see object not relying to line ID, list in aphabetical order
Diagram View
Functional and Logical Design (common to all disciplines)
- Automatic assignment of space when a component is placed in zone (BR needed)
- activate "components" and also "Routes" is wanted
- Avoid port creation on the fly
- Safer to avoid modifying component by mistake
- Switch route mode
- allow to create piping route by mixing orthogonal, point to point, angle modes
- Display frame
- Hide Frame at creation

- View Manipulation : Block the manipulatio nof a View in the Schema (move view position)
- Main View : Deactivate Main view -> main view is useless for schematic --> deactivate it display
Piping and Tubing System Design (Piping and HVAC schematic specific)
- Delete From Diagram view : before deleting an component, be aware that the object is represented also in another diagram
- Applicative Tree : display tree object in an applicative tree grouped per object types (lineID, Equipments, Parts ..). must more easy to navigate in tree to found objects
- Display diagnostics : Display object in schema with color depending on their status
- Port management : avoid user error that can create by mistake automaticaly a port on an object just by miss click
