Following ther reply to my previous thread: I have created an 'RFID' system with a reader antenna and tag (both are just dipoles) separated by 300mm - see image below. I then calculate the S-matrix in 3D mode.
After this, I move to the schematic view and produce this schematic, which modulates the tag impedance between open and short modes.
this produces the following o2, which shows modulation in the CW signal from the reader:
However, this is just a real-valued signal. If we consider the reader antenna then, if it were connected to an SDR for example, how might I recover the magnitude and phase of this signal? i.e. I and Q?
