CST - LF-TD Magnetics Analysis

I am trying to do an analysis in CST Studio Suite  using the LF-TD solver. I basically have two outer coils with the current pointed in one direction and an inner coil pointed in the opposite direction. Between the two there is a conductive ring. The inner coil starts at a given current and it driven to zero in 10mS. From this I would like to calculate the eddy currents and the lorentz forces in the metal ring. I am having a couple of issues:

  1. I would like to eventually use a cylindrical sub-volume so that I can take advantage of the rotational symmetry but I can't get the solver to work with stranded conductors and the cylindrical sub-volume?
  2. I can run the model using either constant voltage or constant current outer coils, but Ideally I would like them to freewheel down and not be driven. Any thoughts on how to set up the circuit for this?
