I intend to perform a triode simulation alongside particle tracking in CST Studio Suite  Tracking solver. This is the idea I have in mind:

Imagine we have an electron gun, but in front of the cathode there is a thin metal plate (like a mesh grid) that has an alternating voltage with a specific frequency. CST should consider a general time domain and a time step. In each time step, that electrode has a specified voltage relative to time; therefore, each time step is an electro-static particle tracking but this must be done by CST itself automatically.

At this moment, I do not know how to apply this AC voltage the the object I want.
