I am reproducing the paper “A phase field formulation for dissolution-driven stress corrosion cracking”, which involves stress corrosion cracking. The authors also provided the finite element input file (.inp) and the user subroutine files used in the paper, including UEL + UMAT. The original authors used Abaqus 6.14.

When I use Abaqus 2024 or 2025, I find that the post-processing results cannot be displayed. Abaqus reports that the current variable cannot be displayed for this element type or the deformation is too large. However, when I switch back to Abaqus 6.14, 2017, or even 2022, the results can be displayed normally.

I do not understand whether this problem is caused by differences between Abaqus versions.
