Regarding variant management, I noticed that the configuration capability for the Product Manager role was disabled after the recent 3DX Public Cloud upgrade. With this update, do we need to request the additional Configuration Engineer role to re-enable this feature?
I think it makes sense for the Product Manager to have this capability, as they define the model version and should be able to ensure variants and options are correctly applied to the BOM and make changes if necessary.
In majority of cases business does not have a separate role/people to work with variant management, and Product Manager does the job of both. What are your thoughts on this?
