Is there a way in 3DExperiece Public cloud to have a custom attribute that can only be written to on item creation, and never modified again? Or anything similar?

Use case: I have MBOMs synced with ERP BOMs. There are certain attributes on ERP that cannot be modified after creation, so having them be modifiable on 3DExperience causes integration issues.
