It seems that dynamic blocks created in DraftSight are not recognized as dynamic by other AutoCAD-based programs such as AutoCAD 2025. I created a simple block with a stretchable rectangle, but when I send it to AutoCAD users, they are unable to use it as a dynamic block—it is imported as a static block instead. The same issue occurs with other AutoCAD users. The block was created using DraftSight Enterprise Plus SP2.

Is anyone able to verify whether this compatibility issue also occurs with earlier versions of DraftSight? In any case, I have already opened a support ticket, but I wanted to report it to the community as well.
